Last Friday my daughters class had a Muffins with Mom day in celebration of Mothers Day and what a wonderful day it was.
The Muffins, Blueberry Tea, and book she made for me. The book was really cute with lots of sentences on what kind of mom I am.
At Christmas time Megs teacher asked for an old shoe which they used for Christmas, Dr. Suess week, and this was the final surprise along with a beautiful card full of more surprises.
They painted the old shoe gold, planted a flower in it and attached a poem that read….
Here is my golden Kindergarten shoe,
A treasure and keepsake that I now give back to you.
Thank You for always being there as I blossom and grow,
Mom, I will always love you from my head down to my toes.
Lets just say there wasn’t a dry eye in the house :O) They finished up our special day with a few songs and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day.
Oh, that is so sweet! The shoe is gorgeous! Tears…
