So I’ve decided to do a Saturday Christmas Countdown where you can link a favorite Christmas/Holiday song/story/tradition back here every Saturday up until Christmas. So send ’em to me in the comment section and I’ll link you here…
One of my (and recently Meggers) favorite Chrismas tunes is by Nat King Cole. You can’t beat Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, and Doris Day when it comes to Traditional Christmas Music.
“The Christmas Song”
Okay one more…. I remember as a child watching Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds in the movie “The Best Little Whore House in Texas” (1982) at my grandmothers house. It’s actually a cute movie minus the brothel..lol I’ve always loved the song Hard Candy Christmas (there are no puns here keep moving) from that movie (you can watch the actual movie version here) another great song to come out of it was “I’ll will always love you”….
For Christmas time, every year I have to pull out the Harry Connick Jr CD and play “When My Heart Finds Christmas” and “Happy Ho Ho Ho To You”.
Love that cd!
