My Wordy Wednesday this week is dedicated to our best friends who recently moved to Maryland. We were so sad to see them go, but glad we got to see them plenty before they left.
I had Meg’s bestie promise to send us a picture of her catching snowflakes on her tongue, because we’re lucky if we get cold weather in December here in Florida, seriously 81 degrees yesterday (insert big raspberry here and thumbs down)! I also taught her a slightly changed version of the Barney song to sing while doing it…
“If all the ‘snowflakes’ were lemon drops and gum drops oh what a world this would be, Standing outside with my mouth open wide, ah ah ah-ah ah…” You get the picture!
Well the other morning Meg and I were so excited to get these two pics of our friends.
So cute right?! We miss them so much and can’t wait till they come back to visit at the end of the month. Gosh I love and miss the snow too so pretty!
Looks like fun! We just got 3 inches of snow last night. But *sigh* it’s freezing rain now so it won’t last too long. Nice to meet you via WW @ 5MFM

I like snow too. But the wind! So windy here on the Vineyard these last days that I run from the car into the house. If it wasn’t for Christmas, 81 would sound perfect to me right about now…

My husband and I were commenting yesterday on how much it feels like August down here in December. It’s sweltering. It just seems wrong. At least you can enjoy the snow vicariously. 😉 Great pictures of them. And I remember that Barney song! It does have a verse for snowflakes…”If all the snowflakes were candy bars and milk shakes, oh what a snow that would be, standing outside with your mouth open wide…” 🙂
