So to keep the Christmas spirit going this week my Music Monday is a cover of “Angels We Have Heard On High” by Six Pence None The Richer.
Meggers, Daddy and I decided to go to the annual “Angels On High” event to support our local community efforts to raise funds for various charities. It was so nice to see kids and parents so involved and Meg loved the way they were all dressed like angels.
It’s a free event where local community members, like churches, schools, businesses, local art leagues, etc. create angels that are put up in the trees along a path of twinkly lights and inflatable decor.
Mr. and Mrs. Claus even make an appearance to take pictures with the kids while they whisper what they want for Christmas.
We stayed long enough to watch a local dance studio and some young kids showcase their talents.
The event had such a warm feeling and made me feel a little bit of that Christmas spirit I’ve been lacking this year.
For more MM check out Good Mourning Glory.
That’s a beautiful cover. How have I not heard it before?

Angels We Have Heard… is one of my favorite songs of the season. It’s fun to play on the piano as well. I love christmas events, activities and shows. This is a cool one you attended.
