Normally I dread the trip to the mailbox because of the pile of bills and junk mail that has to be sorted through.  This morning I was ever so pleased to peek into my mailbox and find a parcel from over the pond.  In it I found a rather large box of lovely Yorkshire teabags and a card from my old best mate Sam’s mum.

Funny as ever she’d posted a little homage to Alice In Wonderland and placed a sticky note on each side of the box with the inscription “Drink Me”.

I can’t tell you how many times I slept over at Carolyn’s house as a child.  Samantha and I had ever wild imaginations and must have drove her completely bonkers at times, but I must say quite a few of my favorite memories growing up were made with Sam and her mum.

Carolyn I can’t send you sunshine like you asked (I would if I could), but I can send you a picture of me enjoying my freshly brewed cuppa in the sunshine.

Love you lots Carolyn and I’m sure I’ll be chatting with you on skype soon.
