So I think Amy Poehler did a fabulous job hosting Saturday Night Live the other night!  She brought back Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry performed.

One skit that I found particularly funny was one where Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph poked fun at the recent Katy Perry/Elmo scandal!

Apparently all the controversy started when some parents felt Katy Perry’s outfit in a skit with Elmo was a little to risqué, which in turn led to Sesame Street taking  it of the air.  Honestly, I didn’t see what all the fuss was about and feel there are much bigger issues in this world than a pair of breasts!   I mean seriously?  Next thing you know I’m going to see mums at the local beach parading signs around the old guy in the speedo!
