I had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend!
We spent Saturday afternoon at the beach and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. My mum was so cute, she’s the only person I know who brings tea, complete with cup and saucer, to the beach. In fact, we all brought a little something to share to complete our picnic on the beach and we ended up with a fabulous spread!
Meg had been dying to go to the beach, so she was happy to finally get to build sand castles and doing it with her cousins was the icing on the cake!
When the sun started to go down everyone gathered along the sea wall to watch and it was breathtakingly beautiful! Even a bride and groom, who happened to get married on the dock earlier in the day, got in a few last photographs before stealing a kiss as the sun set. Two young lads showed off their sixpacks skimboard talents gliding across the shallow surface waters. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day!
