Summer is fast approaching and I don’t know about you, but I love the smell of a good BBQ!
This past week we decided it was time for a new grill in the Gone Bananas household!
Honestly, I think we’ve used it every night since!
So today I’m serving up some BBQ Southern Style Ribs and Grilled Vegetables!
I forgot how good veggies taste straight off the grill! Mmm-MMM!
First I rubbed the meat down with olive oil, garlic, pepper and a little bit of salt.
Next I put it on the grill, coated it with Jack Daniels BBQ sauce and just kept slathering it on and turning them till they were done.
The veggies I used were zucchini, squash, onion, baby bella mushrooms, and plum tomatoes all cut into nice sized chunks.
I tossed them in olive oil with a little garlic and salt and then slid them onto wooden skewers like a kabob.
Cook until they have gorgeous grill marks on them and serve right away!
So tell me what’s your favorite grilled food? What foods bring back summer memories?
To join our Friday Food Fight, post a picture of your favorite food, meal, snack
or drink. Of course, we’d love to see you enjoying your tasty treat, but you
don’t have to be in the picture. Then on Friday, post your drool inducing photo
and link up here.
Grilled veggies are so delicious! Yum! That dish looks fab. I like mine served with an ice cold beer. 😉
I’m with you. I love the smell of a cook-out in the air. Turn up the heat, sister! 🙂

Food glorious food. My favourite pastime.
Thanks for popping by my blog today. I see one of your favourite smells is bacon. I just added a video onto YouTube about that! I’ll add it to a blog one day soon. Nice to ‘meet’ you , Lorraine x
